Traditional cyclic steam stimulation methods face significant operational limitations, including restricted heating radii and low oil recovery rates. These limitations are often exacerbated by high interfacial tension, which traps immobile oil within reservoirs, greatly restricting cumulative oil production. Synergetic's Enercat™ technology directly addresses these challenges by effectively reducing interfacial tension, thereby significantly enhancing oil mobility and boosting overall recovery efficiency.

Problem

Before implementing the Enercat solution, these wells faced frequent interruptions due to paraffin deposition, resulting in production downtime, recurrent hot oiling treatments, chemical usage, and premature well interventions. The economic burden included high operational costs and reduced overall oil output.
Solution & Results
The producer installed Enercat Tubing Tools across 22 wells from April 2019 through September 2021. The Enercat™ Tubing Tool mitigates paraffin issues by reducing the Wax Appearance Temperature (WAT) and preventing crystallization and deposition through a passive resonance process, eliminating the need for chemicals and hot oil treatments.
